As the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections draw nearer, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to address a colossal rally on September 25, marking the culmination of the BJP’s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatras’.
Aim for 1 Million at Jamboree Ground Insiders within the party have disclosed that the BJP’s objective is to gather a staggering crowd of one million at Bhopal’s Jamboree Ground. Dubbed as the ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’, this mammoth gathering coincides with the birth anniversary of Jana Sangh co-founder, Deendayal Upadhyaya. It is being viewed as an ambitious display of strength by the BJP, who are resolute in their efforts to sway the electoral tide in their favor, as reported by PTI.
PM Modi is anticipated to arrive at the grounds around 11 AM and is scheduled to depart by 1 PM. This information was shared by VD Sharma, the chief of the Madhya Pradesh BJP. The city is adorned with large portraits of Modi and banners featuring other senior BJP leaders, creating an electrifying atmosphere in anticipation of the event.

The BJP’s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatras’, launched earlier this month by party president JP Nadda, covered a substantial 223 out of the 230 assembly constituencies. This extensive outreach aims to showcase the developmental and welfare initiatives led by the current Madhya Pradesh government under Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Congress’s Counter-Campaign In response to the BJP’s endeavors, the Congress party has initiated their ‘Jan Akrosh Yatra’. Their campaign centers on what they assert to be the shortcomings of the BJP-led government. In the previous 2018 assembly elections, the Congress narrowly secured power, but their coalition government collapsed within 15 months.
Amidst the preparations for the event, Union Ministers Bhupendra Yadav and Narendra Tomar were seen inspecting the venue alongside state party leaders. The BJP is sparing no effort, further bolstering the campaign with the slogan “Abki bar 150 par”, signifying their aim to secure more than 150 seats in the upcoming elections.
