The Daily Bharat Sports Express (Digital-Desk): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly offered an extension to Rahul Dravid to continue as the head coach of the Indian men’s cricket team till the T20 World Cup next year after former India pacer Ashish Nehra turned down the offer to become India’s head coach in the shortest format of the game.
According to a reports, BCCI approached Nehra, who became the first Indian to win IPL title as head coach in 2022, to become India’s T20I coach but he declined the role.
After getting rejected by Nehra, the BCCI has again moved back to Dravid and renewed talks with him to take up the role once again at least till T20 World Cup next year.
