TVS Motor has unveiled a new special edition of Ronin, priced at ₹1,72,700 ex-showroom. This edition receives several cosmetic enhancements when compared to the standard variant of the Ronin. However, the specifications and features of this special edition remain parallel to the top-spec version of the Ronin.

Visual Enhancements:

The new Ronin special edition showcases a unique graphic design, adopting a triple-tone scheme. The primary shade is grey, followed by a secondary shade of white and a red stripe on the tank and side panels. Furthermore, the motorcycle will also feature an ‘R’ logo pattern.

Its wheel rim proudly displays the ‘TVS Ronin’ branding, and the vehicle’s lower section, including the headlamp bezel, is finished in black. Add-ons also include a USB charger, a flyscreen, and a specially designed EFI cover.

Speaking on the launch, Vimal Sumbli, Business Head of Premium at TVS Motor Company, remarked, “TVS Ronin was introduced last year as TVS Motor’s first entry into the premium lifestyle motorcycle segment.

Ronin boasts a full-LED lighting setup, an off-set LCD instrument cluster with TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth module, two ABS modes (Rain and Road), a slipper clutch, and Glide Thru Technology.

Powertrain:

Driving the TVS Ronin is a 225.9cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. This engine churns out a maximum power of 20.2 bhp at 7,750rpm and peak torque of 19.93 Nm at 3,750rpm.

It’s mated to a 5-speed gearbox. In terms of hardware, it has upside-down front forks, a seven-step preload-adjustable monoshock, a 300mm front disc, and a 240mm rear rotor.
